Sterling Bancorp Announces SBT Advantage Bank Grant to the Chinese-American Planning Council of New York City

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 2019-- Sterling Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBT) (“Sterling”), the holding company of Sterling Bank and Trust, F.S.B., (the “Bank”) is proud to announce a $7,000 grant by the SBT Advantage Bank branch of Flushing, New York to the Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) of New York City. The grant is part of Sterling’s previously announced Anniversary Giving Campaign which aims to support the communities served by the Bank by giving back to those in need. The Company recently announced the first of five 35th anniversary grants to the Community Youth Center of San Francisco.
